Rocket Pool ETH (rETH) on Optimism is the bridged version of the Rocket Pool liquid staking token operating on the Optimism Layer 2 network. It enables users to participate in Optimism DeFi while earning decentralized ETH staking rewards.
How It Works
rETH on Optimism represents the same staked ETH position as mainnet rETH, bridged via the official Optimism bridge. The value-accruing mechanism continues to function, with the rETH/ETH exchange rate increasing as staking rewards accumulate regardless of which network holds the token.
