What is Optimism?
Optimism is an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution that uses optimistic rollup technology to provide fast, affordable transactions while inheriting Ethereum's security. Launched in 2021, Optimism has become one of the leading L2s, known not just for its technology but for its commitment to public goods funding and open-source development.
